  1. Made the french baguettes today. Instead of 4 cups of whole wheat flour I used 2 cups whole wheat and 2 cups white flour. Also, instead of kneading by hand, I used my mixer and dough hooks. They turned out very well and Dad really liked them. They are very filling; we shared one at dinner. I put two in the freezer to have later.
