My Baking Marathon

I hope you can forgive me for the lack of posting, but I’ve been doing a whole lot of baking!

My project looks not so much like this:

but more like this:

Our little bun in the oven is due in July!

After a rough first trimester, I’m finally ready to get back into the kitchen! Let’s see what I can finally whip up that doesn’t come out of a box….any suggestions for someone who’s fallen off the cooking wagon??

  1. Congratulations! I hope things settle down with any sickness and you’re able to enjoy some kitchen time!

  2. Woot woot! Congratulations! Frankly, I’m hoping you’re having some weird cravings so we can read about the most interesting concoctions! :PP

    Cheers,
    Tobias

  3. I saw a video of Fr. Leo preparing Aglio Olio that is super easy. The recipe may be in his cookbook, but if not you can go to this site http://www.ewtn.com/savoringourfaith/index.htm
    Hope you enjoy it.

  4. Congratulations, and especially to your Mom for being a grandmother! She and I were best friends in high school. My daughter is expecting our second grandchild the middle of June, a boy named after the two grandfathers: Thomas Michael Chapman. We are so excited! Do you know what you’re having and picked out a name yet??
